Shane is an ATP-rated pilot and Gold Seal flight instructor based in Kansas City, operating nationwide for contract assignments. His background includes Part 135 and Part 91 turbine operations, advanced instruction, and owner-focused flight support.

He works with aircraft owners and serious pilots who value professionalism, preparation, and disciplined cockpit standards. Whether serving as contract crew or instructor, Shane’s focus is long-term proficiency, operational judgment, and safety at a professional level.

Contract Pilot

Shane provides nationwide contract flight support.  From medevac and corporate experience, he brings structured SOP discipline, strong CRM, and a calm cockpit presence to both crewed and single-pilot environments.

Available for:

  • Short-notice coverage

  • Recurrent support and currency flights

  • Aircraft repositioning

  • Owner assistance and mentoring

Flight Instruction

Shane has provided nearly 2,000 hours of dual instruction and holds Gold Seal CFI, CFII, and MEI credentials. His students maintain a nearly 90% first-time practical test pass rate.

Instruction is intentionally limited to a select number of pilots who are committed to developing professional-level proficiency—not simply earning the next certificate.
